LES FEMMES DU KIVU
A 20 min documentary for The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation on sexual violence in the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo in 2009. Sophia spent 3 weeks on the ground as producer for the CBC production of Les Femmes du Kivu, oporating in Eastern Congo. The team followed the work of Dr Mukewge, a gynecologist working with rape victims, as he gives live saving reconstructive surgery.
